Two Girls Times was founded on the first day of 2012 after a failed attempt at firework-watching and trying to stay sober. But that’s just half of the real story.

The real story is this. Two girls with day-jobs in publishing got together on New Year’s Eve, could only see the reflection of fireworks from a nearby building, and didn’t say no to a single drink tossed their way. And, as with many great things which have come from momentary bouts of madness and irregularity, Two Girls Times was born.

This site is a magazine and blog rolled into one (they call this a ‘blogzine’ these days), where you’ll enjoy the journalistic panache that the girls have honed over the last few years with a sense of personality that you often get with blogs.

The two girls would like to remain incognito for now, but one is a writer who enjoys macarons, musical theatre and endless runs of redrafting copy, whilst the other girl would like to pretzel herself into this at some point this year.

If you’ve got any thoughts or interesting story ideas, do get in touch with them at editor@twogirlstimes.com. They’d love to hear from you.
